Jazz pianist Johannes Wallmann is director of Jazz Studies at the UW-Madison. He performs several of his pieces including Nocturne, Lakeshore and Modified as well as Lover by Rodgers & Hart and I’ll be Home for Christmas by Walter Kent. His latest album “Day and Night” was just released in November. Wallman will be performing Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite with the Darren Sterud Orchestra at the Brink Lounge in Madison on December 18th at 7:30pm. His quintet will also be featured on The Midday in January.
