Norman talks to former University Opera director Karlos Moser and Madison Symphony Orchestra executive director Rick Mackie, both members of the original Hyperion Oriental Fox-Trot Orchestra first formed in 1974. Norman plays some recorded selections from their 1974 performance in WPR’s studios.
Joining Karlos Moser and Rick Mackie in the studio are vocalist-mezzo-soprano Jacqueline Colbert and violinists Diane and Rebecca Mackie. The Orchestra will hold a reunion performance on Monday, May 19 at 7:30pm at Mills Concert Hall in the Humanities Building on the UW campus in Madison.
