Cellist Miriam K. Smith

Norman welcomes 12-year old cellist Miriam K. Smith to the WPR studios. She will be performing the Cello Concerto in A minor by Saint-Saëns with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra as part of the Masterworks series on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Capitol Theater in Madison. Ms. Smith made her orchestral debut at age 8 playing Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major with the Seven Hills Sinfonietta and has recently performed with the Cincinnati and Louisville Symphonies.
