Norman welcomes young violinist Alexander Zhu, recent winner of the 2015 Racine Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artists’ Competition to the Midday studios. This performance was taped by Wisconsin Public Television and will air at a later date.
Mr. Zhu’s piano accompanist was Seugwha Baek. They play:
- Prelude from Bach’s Partita No. 3
- First movement from Henryk Wieniawski’s Concert No. 2
- Pablo de Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen (Gypsy Airs)
- Henryk Wieniawski’s Obertass-Mazurka
