Sturgeon are “living fossils,” according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and first appeared millions of years ago when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. Two species of the fish – the lake sturgeon and shovelnose sturgeon – can be found in the state. Join Larry and his guests as they discuss the history and management of the world’s largest sturgeon population and the upcoming Sturgeon Spectacular in Fond du Lac.
