Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata will be performed by the Florentine Opera Company in Uihlein Hall at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee on November 8th and 10th. The production is directed by William Florescu and conducted by Joseph Mechavich. Norman talks to them about the opera, its history and how it’s produced. Mechavich plays excerpts on the WPR grand piano.
