Organist Jelani Eddington will be the pipe organ accompanist for the 1926 silent film “The Flying Ace” for “Duck Soup Cinema” at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison on November 4th at 7pm. At the age of 13, Mr Eddington won the American Theatre Organ Society’s “Young Theatre Organist Competition” and remains the youngest competitor ever to win this title. He went on to graduate from Indiana University in 1996, and later received his law degree from the Yale Law School in 1999.

Mr. Eddington tells Norman how he approaches creating the music for silent film and they listen to examples. Rudy Lienau, Overture’s vice-president of operations, adds his insights.
