DNR Considers ATVs In State Forest

Leaders are considering developing trails on state forestland for off-road vehicles. Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources meets Wednesday to discuss 36 miles of roads in the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. Our first guest describes Vilas County’s recreation history and the reasons people oppose ATVs. Our second guest says off-road vehicles have their place in Wisconsin’s outdoor activities.
