Advocacy groups have reported that Islamophobic incidents against Muslims or people appearing to be Muslim have been on the rise since the Paris Attacks and San Bernardino shootings at the end of 2015. The Huffington Post recently launched a digital project tracking cases of intimidation, violence, speech, harrassment or rhetoric against Muslims.
