A new report from the Pew Research Center shows that crime and incarceration rates are down significantly in 36 states since 2008. Both Wisconsin’s crime and incarceration rates have reduced by 26 percent. We find out why from our guest. Governor Walker Tours State To Tout Welfare Overhaul Plan
Governor Scott Walker is touring Wisconsin in an effort to build support for his proposed welfare overhaul plan. He was joined by former Governor Tommy Thompson to tout the package of bills. We speak with WPR State Capitol Reporter Laurel White about the legislation and what people on both sides of the issue think of the potential changes to welfare in Wisconsin.
