    We catch up with an elementary school teacher and Lawrence University alum who is spending a month in Alaska participating in the running of this year’s Iditarod sled dog race. As “Teacher on the Trail,” she is tasked with translating themes from the Iditarod into educational materials for teachers around the country to use in their classrooms.
