The case for continuing pandemic funding for child care
Federal pandemic relief funding for child care will be exhausted by the end of the year. A survey of 500 child care programs in Milwaukee found that more than one-fourth would have permanently closed without this funding. We speak with the early childhood educational advocates who are asking the state to fill in the upcoming child care funding gap.
