Colin Kaepernick Removed From Wisconsin Black History Month Resolution
A Black History Month resolution that would honor prominent African-Americans got pushback from some Republican members of the Wisconsin legislature over the inclusion of former-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick is well-known for kneeling during the national anthem to protest excessive use of force by police, namely against people of color. State Assembly Representative David Crowley (D-Milwaukee) joins us to talk about the controversy and why the legislative Black Caucus wanted to recognize Kaepernick.
