Wisconsin mining law rejected; company drops plans for iron ore mine

The state Senate rejected a plan yesterday that would have rewritten Wisconsin’s iron mining laws to clear the way for a major open pit mine in northern Wisconsin.As Shawn Johnson reports, the mining company in question said after the vote it was dropping its plans.
