Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is planning an appearance with Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at an event near Milwaukee touting school choice.
The event Monday comes the day before Bush was to participate in the next Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee.
It will mark the first time Walker has appeared publicly with a Republican presidential candidate since he dropped out of the race on Sept. 21. That said, Walker says he’s not ready to endorse a Republican presidential candidate.

“Governor Bush has been a long term advocate of education reform, and so the stop we’re making is about one of the new charter schools in Waukesha County,” he said.
He said he would also attending an event that day with Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio.
Walker also said he plans to be in the audience for Tuesday’s debate.
Hispanics for School Choice announced the joint appearance by Walker and Bush on Friday. The group says Walker and Bush will meet with charter and private school students at La Casa de Esperanza in Waukesha.
Both Walker and Bush have long histories promoting and developing school choice programs. Walker has expanded Wisconsin’s program statewide, and as governor of Florida Bush was an advocate for vouchers and school choice programs.
