JFC hearings open up for debate over Madison’s split from UW-system

The President of the University of Wisconsin System warned the legislature’s budget panel today that a plan to give the UW Madison more flexibility could hurt other campuses.But Madison’s Chancellor told the same panel that not acting could hurt the state.Shawn Johnson reports.
