GOP lawmakers — minus Democrats — pass legislation curbing collective bargaining

In a surprise move yesterday, Republican state Senators convened quickly to pass a plan that would strip public employee unions of bargaining rights.As Shawn Johnson reports… the move came as Senate Democrats remained out of state and prompted thousands of protesters to flood the Capitol.
