Wisconsin Republicans have come up with a novel way to try to thwart the state Senate recall elections this summer.They’re running GOP activists in Democratic primaries.That puts off each special general election for a few weeks, which presumably gives Republican incumbents facing recalls more time to prepare.WPR’s Terry Bell wanted to find out more about this kind of strategy, and whether it works, so he called UW Milwaukee political scientist Mordecai Lee.
