Yudhijit Bhattacharjee

Yudhijit Bhattacharjee, formerly a staff writer at Science magazine, is a contributor to The New Yorker, National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine and other national publications. He’s currently a public policy scholar at the Wilson Center.

He has written about a variety of topics relating to scientific research and policy, like brain trauma caused by explosions, and rivalry between two teams that shared the Nobel Prize for their discovery of the accelerating universe.

He has also written long form magazine narratives about espionage, organ trafficking, cybercrime and science. A story he wrote about an organ dealer in India has been anthologized in the 2011 Best American Science and Nature Writing.
