She has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Writing, she won the HUMANITAS Prize for Drama Teleplay, and she has been nominated for multiple Drama Series Emmys, Writers’ Guild Awards and Producers’ Guild Awards. Her credits include ER, Supergirl, Dirty Sexy Money, Shades of Blue, Pan Am and Ed. Before writing for television, she was a writer, reporter and culture critic for Newsweek magazine.
