Doctor VJ Periyakoil is a geriatric and hospice physician. She’s director of Stanford’s Palliative Care Education and Training Program and the Stanford Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program. She’s an associate professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, and she’s Associate Director of Palliative Care Services at the VA Palo Alto Health Care Center.
