Victor Zavala is the Baldovin-DaPra Associate Professor of Chemical & Biological Engineering at UW-Madison. Victor specializes in the formulation of optimization and statistical models for control, estimation, and system design, and in the development of computational techniques to solve such models on high-performance computers. The applications to his work are broad, including infrastructure systems, energy systems, agricultural systems, supply chains, materials, and chemical production facilities.
