Tom Kasper graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Horticulture. He moved to Duluth and was the Duluth City Gardner for almost 2 decades. President for 12 years president of the Duluth Garden Flower Society and was the featured expert on WDSE-TV’s “Great Gardening” program for 18 seasons, Kasper has become a local authority on gardening.
In 2016 Tom and his son Michael purchased an existing greenhouse and now operate Bending Birches Greenhouse just northeast of Duluth. With extensive knowledge of horticulture and 30 plus years of experience with growing things in the Northland.
