Tim Boals is the founder and director of WIDA, which has provided language teaching and testing for multi-lingual learners since 2003. Started as a Wisconsin state program, WIDA now has more than 40 states as members. The organization is headquarters at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at UW-Madison.
