Sydney Halpern is a lecturer in the program in Medical Humanities and Bioethics at Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, where she studies moral issues in biomedical research and practice. She is the author of “Dangerous Medicine: The Story behind Human Experiments with Hepatitis,” which was published in November 2021 by Yale University Press.
