Susan Sherman is a Bloomberg Professor of American Health at John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she focuses on examining and improving the health of marginalized populations, particularly that of people who use drugs and female sex workers. She has over 20 years of experience in developing and evaluating overdose and HIV prevention interventions in the US and internationally. Much of her work has informed drug policy in Maryland and elsewhere.
