Sonya Newenhouse, Ph.D. has over 20 years of land management, real estate, and shared economy experience. In 1999 she founded and ran a sustainable consulting company, Madison Environmental Group, Inc., focused on land management, green building, transportation options and greenhouse gas assessments. In 2003 she sought investors to launch Community Car, LLC, Wisconsin’s first car sharing company, an hourly car rental company with 1,000 members sharing 20 cars.She is currently the Lead Developer and LLC President of PrairieWind Park and PrairieWind Community.
