Sathya Chandra Sagar is a conservation scientist and field ornithologist, and a PhD graduate from the UW–Madison, where he worked with Dr Zuzana Burivalova at the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. Originally from India, Sagara now spends part of the year in the Baraboo Hills with his wife, who is also an ornithologist, studying migratory passerines.
