Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, Professor Emerita of Ethnic Studies at California State University, Hayward, and the author of several books including The Great Sioux Nation, which was the fundamental document at the United Nation’s first international conference on Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Her new book is An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States.
