Ron Dolen

Ron Dolen is an ecologist and educator who has conducted watershed studies and trained citizen volunteer stream monitors at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Prior to the DNR he spent six summers as a camp counselor and canoe instructor in northern Wisconsin; taught high school biology in remote Tanzania with the Peace Corps; and earned an MS in Water Resources Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is currently a teacher in Madison and is the and co-founder of Reach Out Wisconsin.He is a co-author of “Field Guide to Wisconsin Streams: Plants, Fishes, Invertebrates, Amphibians, and Reptiles.”
