Robin Shepard is a regional beer writer and senior contributor to The Isthmus. Author of three books about beer travels and searching for the perfect pint, including Wisconsin’s Best Breweries and Brewpubs (which was recognized by the North American Guild of Beer Writers as best book in 2001).He’s also an Associate Professor in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at UW Madison, and a specialist for University of Wisconsin Extension.
