He has extensive experience representing assisted living and skilled nursing facilities on regulatory and operational issues including survey and certification, licensure, audits, regulatory compliance, risk management, HIPAA compliance, contracts and transactional matters involving the buying and selling of facilities.
Having over two decades of legal experience working with assisted living and skilled nursing facility owners and operators, and licensed to practice in two states, Bob is recognized both in and outside Wisconsin as an expert in his field. As a result of his unique specialization, he has established strong, professional relationships with governmental regulators in both state and federal agencies. Adding to his impressive list of professional accomplishments, Bob is a licensed Registered Nurse with ten years of clinical experience, most of which was spent in nursing practice at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a large academic medical center in Nashville, Tennessee. His nursing background provides him with a unique practical real-world perspective since he appreciates both the legal and clinical sides of health care-related issues when advising his clients.
