Richard Cates Jr. is a life-long farmer and current co-owner of the Cates Family Farm in southwest Wisconsin’s Iowa County. He is the author of the book “A Creek Runs Through This Driftless Land: A Farm Family’s Journey Toward a Land Ethic” published last year by Little Creek Press.
