Phyllis Bennis is a fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies, where she directs the New Internationalism Project, focusing on the Middle East, U.S. militarism, and UN issues. She is the author or editor of eleven books, including Understanding the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict, and serves as the international adviser to Jewish Voice for Peace.
