Paul Bogard is an associate professor of English and environmental studies at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He previously taught at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. He is the author of several books, including The End of Night: Searching for Natural Darkness in an Age of Artificial Light (Little, Brown) and Let There Be Night: Testimony on Behalf of the Dark (The University of Nevada Press).
