Pamela Stone is a sociology professor at Hunter College and at the City University of New York Graduate Center. She is author of the book “Opting Back In: What Really Happens When Mothers Go Back To Work.” It’s a follow-up to her previous book, “Opting Out?: Why Women Really Quit Careers and Head Home.”
