Neil Kentner

Neil Kentner started raising sheep 30 years ago, and he become involved early on with the ancient Mesopotamian breed, the Jacob sheep. At Wynsmoor Manor, his historic farmstead in Mason, Michigan, Kentner has since expanded into Wensleydales and Blue-Faced Leicesters. Handspun wool, primarily from his longwool Wensleydales, is another major staple of the operation, and he has served as a wool judge, including at the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival, for nearly twenty years.
