Michele LaVigne is a distinguished clinical professor of law at the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is the Director of the Public Defender Project, where law students are interns in public defender offices throughout Wisconsin. She is a former Wisconsin State Public Defender. She teaches criminal law, professional responsibility and trial advocacy.
