Matthew Koehler is executive director of the Wild West Institute, an organization looking to protect and restore forests in the Northern Rockies. He’s worked on wildfire and public lands logging issues for more than 20 years. Koehler grew up in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. He works in Missoula, Montana.
