Matt Zoller Seitz is a critic and filmmaker. He is currently a staff writer for New York Magazine, where he was the lead television critic from 2012-2022, as well as the editor-at-large. His bestselling books about film and TV include The Deadwood Bible: A Lie Agreed Upon, Mad Men Carousel, TV: The Book, The Wes Anderson Collection series, Guillermo Del Toro’s The Devil’s Backbone, and The Oliver Stone Experience. He is currently finishing a film about his late father, jazz musician Dave Zoller, tentatively titled A Dying Art.
