Margot Shetterly is a journalist and independent researcher working on a digital archive of the stories of NASA’s African American Human Computers. She grew up knowing many of these women. As the daughter of one of NASA’s first black engineers, she has an insider’s perspective and direct access to NASA executives and the women featured in the book.
