Lynn Rogers is the founder of the North American Bear Center and founder and principal biologist of the Wildlife Research Institute, both in Ely, Minnesota. As a wildlife biologist for more than 50 years, Rogers has followed the lives of more than 300 black bears in northeast Minnesota.
