Lu Lu is an assistant professor at UW–Madison in the Department of Physics and is an astroparticle physicist. She is a member of the IceCube Real-time Oversight Committee and focuses on the extreme-high-energy alert channel. She is a co-convener/co-chair of the Diffuse/Atmospheric working group in IceCube since 2021. She developed a phone app to get real time updates from IceCube.
