Lawrence Carter-Long is the Director of Communications for the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund and the director of the group’s Disability & Media Alliance Project, which promotes accurate representation of people with disabilities and works to eliminate stereotypes and misinformation about disability in news, TV, films, and other media.
