Laura Tropp is a professor of communication and media arts at Marymount Manhattan College. Her research explores media environments, gender and culture. She authored the book, “A Womb with a View: America’s Growing Public Interest in Pregnancy,” which documents the shift of pregnancy from a private to a public experience.
