Laura Hunt is an independent communications consultant, video maker and content creator living in Wittenberg. She has been working with the Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service (WIPPS) on a variety of projects and events since 2012. She has created video and writing projects with local groups, including the Walls of Wittenberg, Inc. arts group, the Homme Home for the Aging and the Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School.
Prior to moving to Wisconsin she was the Director of Communications for The Alliance for Children’s Rights, a free legal services agency that advocates for children in foster care in Los Angeles County. Laura holds a Bachelor’s in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She and her husband live on a retired family farm property with their two year-old daughter and one year-old son.
