Kenneth Woodward edited Newsweek’s Religion section from 1964 until his retirement in 2002 and remained a writer-at-large at Newsweek until 2009. He is the author of several books on religion and faith, including his most recent, “Getting Religion: Faith, Culture, and Politics from the Age of Eisenhower to the Era of Obama.”
