Keidra Chaney is a pop culture critic, essayist, and the co-founder and publisher of “The Learned Fangirl” which from 2008 to 2018 focused on pop culture critical writing and academic scholarship about fan communities. She has written about pop culture, fan culture and social technology issues for publications including the Chicago Sun Times, Paste, Bitch Media, The Organization for Transformative Works and Uncanny Magazine.
