Keegan Campbell is a sophomore at Fennimore High School who has been reenacting for a total of six years. He first got started in reenacting through his grandmother at the age of ten, and has been doing it ever since. Keegan is part of the 9th Virginia Cavalry and McGregor’s Battery, a Civil War unit that was part of J.E.B. Stuart’s Horse Artillery during the Civil War. He portrays both a Cavalryman and an Artilleryman. Keegan does about eight events a year, and has even attended the 150th Anniversary of The Battle of Gettysburg Civil War Reenactment, which boasted over 15,000 reenactors.
