Josh Pohja

Joshua is an educator, director and actor. He is currently a Teaching Artist for Milwaukee Rep, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Pius XI and First Stage. Previously, he has taught Movement for the Actor and Shakespeare for the Guthrie Theater and the Acting Company on-tour intensives. He currently serves as Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s School Programs Coordinator, and is grateful to be bringing theater residency programs to students throughout Milwaukee County. He was last seen on the stage in Great Expectations at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre as understudy for Narrator #5, and as the production’s assistant director. Some recent directorial credits include The Skin of Our Teeth, Blue Stockings, Antigone and Much Ado About Nothing at First Stage and Golden Child, Much Ado About Nothing and The Laramie Project at Pius XI. Training: Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama (BFA acting), Saratoga International Theater Institute (SITI) under the guidance of Anne Bogart and the SITI Company. He is an 18-year member of the Actors’ Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild.
